Highlights

• An iOS app that helps people instantly save and organize events—from screenshots, flyers, and posts—into a flexible, social calendar.
• I designed and built the product from scratch, leading everything from concept to launch, with a focus on reducing friction in how people plan their social lives.
• Innovated on two fronts: using AI to capture events directly from screenshots, and introducing a notification-based UX pattern to handle AI wait times—an approach that later became standard across AI apps.
• Launched on iOS in 2025, Soonlist has 100s of users and supports a community calendar in Portland with over 50 unique contibutors. The long-term vision is a shared calendar for every group chats and communities.
